Sometimes, Ghosts, Spirits, and Spectres move. Some of the spirits and ghosts I have encountered (never came across any spectres,
thank God) had complete mobility of the campus. Meaning I could feel them sometimes while waiting for the shuttle, or while
in the library. Although they had their spots to "rest" per say (listed below), I cant mention all the times I
have felt them, cause that would be far too many!
South Side Stair Case:
Story: Supposedly a girl committed suicide from jumping off the top story of this stair case and fell approzimatly 7-8
stories to her death. You are supposed to hear crying from the top, and sometimes, see her standing up top.
My Findings: I havent seen nor heard anything. I have climbed and decended this stiar case both by day and by night.
it does go by the chapel, and when in front of the Chapel, I felt somewhat cold, but that was probably a draft. This doesnt
say its not true, but I have seen, and heard nothing.
FOLLOW UP: I am not going to try and follow up. I have been up and down that stair case, at nite and day. I have seen and
heard nothing and think someone associted the death to a haunting. I will have to reasearch this death, and see if it is
in the papers. However, I will not give up hope that something might happen, but I am not going to deliberatly try that area.
Grand Foyer:
Story: The foyer has ghosts of Nuns that live in it. You are supposed to have things (doors and pianos) change randomly
and hear voices.
My Findings: There is something there. The door will be closed when I get there, open when I leave and no one has entered
the foyer. I have asked campus police what they have encountered and they tell me the same; Door will randomly be open and
they shut it, turn around, and its open. Sometimes you can politely ask for the door to be shut, and it will shut on its
own (ive never expirienced that). I do get an eerie feeling all around when im there, and the piano has randomly played while
I was there, nothing elaborate, however, it has played with no one behind the seat. I have never heard voices.
FOLLOW UP: Once school is in session yet again, I do know a student or two out there. I am hoping to investigae this more,
yet I have a maximum of one year to do so, after that, I have no reason to be at Regis College. However, I do want to get
from this foyer what I can, maybee one last push from these spirits.
Clock Tower:
Story: Unknown
My Findings: There is a presance there. At night, I am almost drawn to it. You can not access the inside, but you can
feel a very cold draft and wind coming from the inside of the tower. If you look at it hard enough, it almost appears as
though something is sitting on top of it. Soon you get a feeling you are being watched.
FOLLOW UP: Like the Foyer, I do want to follow this one up, check out the tower, I do find it relaxing almost to walk by it,
and for some reason, I am always drawn to look on top. I do want to spend a good amount of time, just by the tower. Like
the Foyer, my time is limited.
Basement:
Story: Unknown
My Findings: Now used as storage, there is defintly something down there. A small sprial stair case, made of old rod
metal, leads you to the basement and the first small part is an old looking basement. First thing you notice is a large opening
and there is no light in the fairly large room beyond it. It is VERY cold in the room, and you can not see far at all. Attempted
to take a picture, and nothing has developed. Second is a room at the far end, this basement is now used for stoarge and
a break room for employees. This far room is also pitch black, and is VERY cold. When inside the small closet, you want
to get out as fast as you can. it had things like desks etc blocking it, took some work to get into it.
FOLLOW UP: This is one of the most interesting places. I do want to follow up, but this time, armed with a camera, to see
what is in the dark cold areas. Half of the basement is actually built with dry wall and storage, but the small room you
enter is freaky.
Radio Station/Lower Hall:
Story: Unknown
My Findings: Ask anyone who has had a late nite show, it feels funny. You do get the feeling you are being watched, and
sometimes will hear random knocks on the doors, footsteps outside, or even someone talking. I heard once someone screaming.
I had a friend there with me (Al) and I told him to wait there as I went to investigate. I went downstairs to the dance
room below (still in complete function during the day) and it felt extremely cold. Defintly felt a presance there. I then
could have sworn I saw someone standing at the far end of the dance floor. I got the worst feeling so I went upstairs again,
and we left the building. In reguards to the lower level, during the nite (after hours) alot of people will report being
cold and feelings of being wathced, sometimes too much to tolerate.
UPDATE: I do remember a good friend of Mine, Rob, was in the station one nite, and he claimed to have heard three girls, and
seen one of them. At the time he said that, I had a vision of a girl I saw in my mind later looking into the entrance to
the station. Also, some nites I just felt there was a presance that did not want us in there.
FOLLOW UP: I do not have a radio show anymore, and chances are even if I do know someone with a show next year, I will not
use the station. As well as the lower TT. If I was to visit regis one nite to check out the paranormal, I might go here,
but the radio station has served its Purpose.
