Rainbow Six: Raven Shield

Rainbow Six: Raven Shield

Overall Rating: 9
Graphics: 9
Gameplay: 9
Ease of use: 9
Fun factor: 8

Graphics: Graphics here are pretty much the best you can get.  Weapon models are beutifully rendered however, some of the models are too realistic when looking down the rail.  However, this game is based off of being real.  A few glitches are known such as if you get too close to a door your arm might go through it and give away your position but overall graphics are awesome.

Gameplay: This game does have alot to remember.  However, it makes it simple by using a universal command key.  You can do alot with your AI characters such as have them open doors for you, clear the room or jsut frag it.  On top of that, you have real world movements and the sounds in the game are crystal clear.  Plays smooth and does not toll your system to its end but can sometimes get boring if you forgot one terrorist and have to go find him on a large map.

Ease Of Use: This game is very easy to start in.  Install it and you are good to go!  There is an update though, and trying to get online is a little tricky because they use a third part account, and setting up your own server is a pain in the ass.  However, it is extremely simple to use in single player.

Fun Factor: You can mix kits, make what you want.  pick your rifle and accessories, pistol, two kit items and suit you wear for each person including AI Characters.  However, the realism in this game can interfere with your fun.  You get shot once, more than likely you are looking down at a pool of your own blood.  And in multiplayer that can be incredbiyl annoying because you have to wait for everyone to die before you can get back in.  In the single player you can switch to the next AI guy and play as him until your entire team is killed.  The game has three difficulty modes and on the easiest mode, you should really have no problem neutrilizing terrorists.  Its when it comes to hostage rescue and you must follow a plan that it gets somewhat boring waiting to send the "Alpha" code to the green team who is walking around.  you can switch to an active team and play as them though.  It can get very frustrating when you work an entire plan to the T and yet a hostage is still killed and you  must try again.

Overall: Great Game.  Easy to use however it is single player based.  Online play can be fun but I would not say is the highlight of the game.  The realism can also sometimes be hindering but when you complete a mission you can customize it, just do terrorist hunts with different weapons and pistols!
