Graphics: This game does have alot to offer for graphics, and can go either way. you can play it in "Ultra graphics"
mode, which turns all the graphcis to their maximum setting, or "Medium" and "low" of coarse. Low does take some fun away,
however, it will let the older computers keep up. Enviroments are very smooth and no lag problems (making sure your graphics
match your system specs). Some enviroments dont have a real "feeling" but there are alot of details. Some maps have extreme
"feelings" when playing them (Like a tower or a grenhouse map, they rock.) The individual graphcis settings allow for alot
of different configuration.
Gameplay: Gameplay is simple, you can choose between many different styles of playing. From normal gametypes like
deathmatch, team deathmatch, and capture the flag, and there are a good few more other types, like bombing run, dominitaion,
and my favorite, Onslaught.
Ease of Use: Very easy to use. Put in CD 1, and let it install! Yea, theres alot of CD swapping, the game is about
6 CD's long, however, the CD is NOT NEEDED during gameplay! So once it is installed, you dont need to worry about getting
the CD to play! Also, once installed, theres no patches, gimics, wait times, or grpahics adjustments to wait for. Its simple,
once its installed, its really installed!
Fun Factor: VERY FUN! Not only are the weapons, well, "unreal" (hence its name) the game types can get fun! The bots
are very smart and really act at the level you put them. The bots have plenty of difficulty settings, not just easy medium
and hard and theres also an auto adjust so the bots pose a challenge, but your not ripping your hair out trying to kill them.
What makes this game better than most, is the variety of vehicles! There are some one manned vehicles with some odd weapons
(most have lasers or blasters, however, some vehicles like the hovercraft can also be used to decapitate the enemy.) The
fun never stops, some vehicles can also have multiple persons in them. And the bots use the vehicles, so if your playing
online or alone, you will always have some fun!
Overall: Defintly worth the money. This game even runs without a CD! Fun factor is out of this world, and with semi-realistic
and unrealistic weapons, the fun can never end! Worth the money, go out and get it now!
