Spider Gates

Spider Gates Cemetary is a small cemetary located in Worcester, MA, Near the Worcester Airport.

CAUTION: THIS IS TRESPASS PROPERTY! Ever since september 11'th police have been more strict in reguards to trespassing, and this is property in which carries fines etc. Travel at your OWN risk.

Spider Gates Cemetary was to me very dissapointing. However, rumors have fled that I will try to clear up.

Spider Gates' Gates:
Story: Supposedly this gate is the eigth gate of hell (being nine all together, biblical prophecies.)

My Findings: I felt nothing when I traveled through the gates. I believe that the gates were nammed the Eighth gate of hell because they are sort of creepy and have a spider design on them (hence the name spider gates).

FOLLOW UP: Nope. Nothing to be seen here. Gates are like any other gate you would find made around when these were made.

Spider gates Tree:
Story: A rope hanging from the tree is left from when a small child hung himself from the tree.

My findings: How about some idiot put the rope up there, and someone made up the story. There is too much that would not make sense. One, that rope is a light rope, it would not hold the weight of a body. Two, if a child did hang themselves, the rope would not be left, the parents/guardian of the child would want the rope removed. Three, there is no stories in the paper about the hanging.

FOLLOW UP: Bogus story. Either someones imagination gone wild, or some kid looking to spread a rumor.

Spider Gates Other stories:
Story: None

My Findings: A few other things are that you can hear sounds at night. Consider that you are near an airport and planes travel close over head. People say you can see light in the distance at weird times of the nite, Again, you are near an airport and there are some houses in far sight. If you lived near a highly trespassed cemetary, tell me, wouldnt you be up at 3am? Hell, arent you already? Runes on the undersides of rocks do not exist, and unmarked tombstones, well, duh, this is an old cemetary, they used the head stones to mark where a body was, not who it was. The family knew already and they kepy close tabs on their passed loved ones, no need to mark the graves.

FOLLOW UP: I have no intention on following up, at all. This is a waste of time. It is a cemetary yes, and for that it is eerie. Being that it is in the middle of the woods is strange, and on some nights that can cause fog to occur and wildlife will be living in the woods, making noises. These stories are imagination at its best, and the human intellect at its worst.
